    To be fair that could be levelled last season, we have been picking pretty much the same team and formation this season. He has picked wrong personnel at time but largely we have had a very clear set up. The defence has changed a bit due to injury but it has been pretty much a midfield three from Cabaye, Sissoko, Anita, Tiote. Remy left. Gouf or Benni wide. The only one who has been moved a bit is HBA because he is inconsistent and we don't have a striker.

    I don't think we can use that excuse this season. I think the players and make of the squad has been exposed.

    I certainly don't hope the mackems stay up.

    As long as Pardew's in charge we won't be beating them many times. Bloke's clueless and I can't be arsed to explain why... yet again.

    To be fair I hate the build up to the game, and it's only worth it if we win, we haven't beaten them 11 v 11 since April 2008.
