Ash handed in a transfer request after Brown Phil offered him a ludicrous contract.

 

Hardly, we offered him a one year extension, they offered him 2. Not exactly lucrative.

Have to say Ash's headlong sprint to the dressing room when he was subbed for PNE was one of the most unexpected things I've seen at the KCOM.

Not necessarily. I was told the offer from Brown was far higher over the length of the deal than what he would get with us, and that was why Ash took it.
