Was shocked when he was appointed as there were better candidates, but he has done well some good results and as people have said good at interviews and the person at the club who speaks to fans the most (bar joey on twatter) think ill jump on the band wagon and give him a 7

 

6 from me based on what has gone before. I want to see how we stand when this transfer window closes and how he deals with the final stages of it. Do we get the LB and striker we need, are they the right ones, or just any old crap bought out of desperation etc? Does well and i'll happily up him to 7.

 

I feel pretty sorry for Pardew.

He's constantly having the rug pulled out from under him with regards to player incomings/outgoings and is effectively doing the job with one hand tied behind his back.


Because he's the only person at the club actually speaking to the media, he's taking all the flack.


I think he's doing a good job on the pitch, and the players he (and his scouting team) are recognising are spot on. I don't think he could possibly do any more?


He's being badly let down by the people running the club.

 

We can't really rate him as a manager because he is not really being allowed to manage by Fat Boy and his sidekick. As a coach he has a decent reputation in the game.
