    Rowett made Birmingham play off contenders with a shoe string budget, whilst your hero Pardew spent £50 million or so with Palace and made them relegation contenders.

    I meant playing against to be fair, not managing for.

    Big Sam and Alan Pardew ffs. RR is probably in disbelief that we didn't go for Mourinho.

    That comment related to Big Sam, taking over from Alan Pardew, and not doing too well at present.

    Same at Brum with Zola taking over from Rowett,he is struggling.

    I give in....
    Don't see what the fuss is about Rowett, he's done nothing at this level. Pardew would be the better option, if we lived in never never land like RR....

    If we're weighing up Pardew & Rowett, why not other candidates, such as Louis van Gaal, Roberto Mancini or the reincarnation of Brian Clough?
