I think Pardew dealt with discipline well.
the HBA situation is a good example.
Baffled a bit about the 'tight financial margins bit'.... are palace gonna suddenly find £50m down the back of the sofa and say 'here you go Alan'. FFP means clubs have to live within their means and, no disrespect to Palace.... with a lot less fans and revenue in general those mens will be tested I'm sure..

As far as Sissoko goes, I have no idea what the affiliation is with your players wanting to go to Arsenal, Wenger isn't who he used to be, they've barely mounted any serious challenges for any trophies for the past 10 years, I can only assume they're living in the past or want big money and London life.

Yeah, thought as much. The fact is, no matter how much your home town means to you, it never means the same to the foreign players. I wonder even if Andy Carroll has become accustomed to the London life to the extent that he'd prefer to play for West Ham than Newcastle. Same for Welbeck, albeit he's up here most weekends from what I hear.

Sissoko has been hitting all the right notes this season, it's a shame that you've got a selling owner because with the lads you've sold and Sissoko you could be some team, with Carroll, Enrique, maybe Debuchy but I rate the Dutch fella higher than him, Cabaye, Ba it's a side that would give any team a game in this league.

You could argue you've seen the best of Sissoko after Cabaye left mind.

 

I know someone who knows Carroll and he was loving life there 12 months ago. He loved Liverpool too apart from not playing. However since he has gone to London he was loving it. He was living in a plush penthouse on Canary Wharf (Diamanti owned the place from his time there, Carroll may have bought it off him or moved now) I'd imagine 12 months on he is loving it even more given the way things are going on the pitch. I'm not sure he'd be all that bothered about coming back here, he has a bit more anonymity down there.

 

Yeah him and Harry Kane have got to be in with a shout for the next England squad, the way they're playing.

 

I was somewhat angry that Carroll wanted out of Newcastle and then would of preferred going to a bunch of ****s like West Ham, but shocker I'm not a professional footballer, I have no idea what goes on in the back.

However, I have got a current FIFA 15 player campaign and I have put in my transfer request at Newcastle... I shall not be subbed off in the 55th minute every game Pardew. **** you.

So I can understand Carroll to an extent...
