It annoys me that people actually think Pulis transformed Palace into something they wasn't. He did a great job there but left just before the season started probably because he wasn't given enough money, why would we want that? He would no doubt consolidate us in the Premier League but it would be the most boring 5 seasons we would see, i saw his Stoke team play numerous times and i saw Palace 4/5 times they where very direct, it was a different why of been direct and a very different system to Stoke but he still tried to do it the same way. I have never been a Pulis fan and i don't think he would take the club in the direction i would want us to go in.

I think Bruce is the right man for us but if he did leave the calls for Mclaren are not a bad shout just i doubt he would come here.

Whatever you think of his football he guided Palace away from relegation, to their highest Premier League finish of 11th in 2013–14, which earned him the Premier League Manager of the Season award.

Anyone who thinks Pulis' brand of football is more defensive, duller or direct than we play under Bruce simply cant watch much football and instead just follows popular stereotype. His Palace were attacking, fast-paced, dynamic and scored goals.

I'm very annoyed that WBA look to have gone for Pulis. That massively improves their chances of staying up.

If they'd appointed Sherwood they might well have gone down.

Mike Ashley doing what he does best and that is making wonga.

Looks like Carver will step up along with Stone to be the next combo @ Sid James Park.

Most forget that Ashley wants out of the Toon to take control of Rangers.

Completely agree with that, but as a fan is that ultimately what i want? Boring football but we stayed up....

I agree with BCC about Bruce been as defensive as Pulis but he is just trying to go against what is actually true to look cool, the statistics on opta will disagree with you. Dynamic? You are just trying to look like you know what you are on about. Fast paced, i agree with but they where very direct which is why they where fast? Hoofing the ball forward is quite a high tempo isn't it really....

Bruce isn't particularly attacking but i still think if we had the full squad fit he would be far more attacking as we saw at the start of the season.

The Pulis appointment by WBA is frankly bad news for other struggling PL teams - Us being one. He's savvy enough and already linked with players that will help them pull clear. Peter Crouch for one.
