Not sure what you're sniffing mate but it's obviously good...I'll have a portion please !

I guess like people have said, its not so much the results but the performances that we are looking for, both collectively and individually.

Cisse was anonymous on Monday night, but City kept the ball very well and won it back very quickly...and probably far too easily from us.

At least Jonas is out and Saylor too, so we can hopefully go with the following:-

    KRUL

    DEBUCHY---COLO---MBIWA----HAIDARA/DUMMETT

    ANITA---TIOTE---CABAYE

    HBA---CISSE---LE_GOUFF

Pardew can f**k right off. We have been patient enough, time for action!

Sissoko will definitely play, Cabaye probably won't IMO so switch those two and I reckon that'll be our starting line up.

Doh....I was sitting typing that at lunch whilst my boss was wittering away in the background and I was thinking...I'm sure we've got another good midfielder somewhere !

Yep, swap Cabs for Sissoko and we're good to go !

I don't think it's a witch hunt! The guy is full of **** and has been found out for what he is. He's making excuses ALREADY! We've only played 1 bloody game and he's saying we have some tired players!!! Nobody has any respect left for him because he hasn't got the balls to stand up to MA and publicly state the problems he has and what MA needs to do to fix them.

We are in complete limbo at the minute - We have an owner who doesn't care what happens on the pitch, a Director of Football who has had 2 months to bring players in and has managed to get 1 loan deal 'over the line' and a manager who's hands are tied by lack of investment in the team but who is to scared to say anything because he has such a long contract and doesn't want to jeapordise it!

I reckon it is a witch hunt after one game of a new season. If we look as raggy over the next two I'd understand the slating of the manager. His interviews are not always the best, but they are just press at the end of it all. You have judge on his results this season. The past, is exactly that. Of course as an owner, in deciding if he keeps his job you have to look at the past and present when deciding if he is the right man.

As for not speaking out against the behind the scenes and upstairs stuff. Whilst I respected KK when he did, it didn't exactly serve us very well did it? It just increased the pace of the spiral. Its just not that simple here and like Hughton before him, Pardew clearly thinks it is better to make the best of a bad situation. To then view them as spineless yes men seems a little over the top for me. Sometimes you just have to get oon with what you've got instead of pissing and moaning the whole time.

Ashley needs to take a long, hard look at himself and not Pardew. If he'd listened to Pardew and strengthened the squad in the summer we would not have had the poor season last year and subsequently all the anti Pardew stuff would not be around. Then to undermine the manager by bringing Kinnear in simply beggars belief.

I'm seriously worried about this season purely because of the treatment of a good manager and a good bloke by an owner who apparently hasn't learned from previous mistakes.

I sense bottom feedery today. Terrible tactics, lack of desire and Nolan to score from a corner.

I hope to be very wrong come this evening.

Maybe against a more physical team this is what Pardew thinks we need! Especially as Saylor is out
