I was waiting for someone to mention this. I don't think I've heard of anyone actually paying tribute to themselves - at least not while being serious.

Has anyone got a link to the interview where he says this? I know it was on nufctv, but they sometimes make their way on to YouTube.

If he did say it, WOW!! This man truly does operate in his own little world. To be fair to him, it's probably the only way he was going to get any recognition for successful transfers. Mike probably said "Go on Alan, give yourself a pat on the back. You've earned it!".
