Don't get me wrong marra, I agree with your principles. It's the way it is though, and an out-and -out goalscorer is what we need, and that's all that matter to me. I'd take Bent back in a blink, as it would benefit my team, that simple.
Yeah, I can see your reasoning. I'd take Ronaldo back too but it's not going to happen unfortunately. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe Freiburg have realised they need to offload him asap before they are relegated and sell him cut-price, or maybe they've identified other players who they can buy in return for what they'd get if they sold Cisse. It's all guesswork it just doesn't look great when a player wants to jump ship mid-crisis. It's fine him having aspirations and wanting to test himself in the best league in the world, I agree wholeheartedly with ambition, but don't buy a dog and bark yourself, that's what agents are paid to do for players.
Wasn`t there talk of him being of interest to us this summer? Seem to recall it. Have to agree with the sentiment that "loyalty" would be nice but guess we all agree that most players these days are loyal only to themselves and (if we were all being totally honest) we would also look twice if a job offer came along on significantly more cash than we`re on at the moment.

With regards to your earlier comments about him being another Gyan...so what ????, I kinda guess you wouldnt be making the same analysis if it was your flippin lot going for him and furthermore I am sure you wouldnt be describing your lot as a 'small club in the scheme of things'..What I do know is this...if MON decides to go for this lad then I trust his judgement wholeheartedly

According to L'equipe newspaper, (who are normally very reliable)we have made a bid for this Cisse lad. The figure was £10m Euros. I'd be well chuffed with that.
