Am I right in thinking that he has been playing in pre season.
If so can anyone tell me how he is shaping up.
I thought we had given up on him but now get the impression hughes wouldnt mind keeping him if he can sort him out.
Any ideas guys ?

I watched the Dallas game, he didn't play badly, but seemed a little clumsy at times, but I suppose that's understandable given his lack of game time. It'll be interesting to see how he does in the coming weeks.

If he's given the chance and doesnt perform then so be it but as with all players he needs a run of games. I agree with Sandor that he does look clumsy but I never remember him as a graceful player just a bit of bruiser who could carry the ball, break up play but link up and pass the ball. Time will tell, but even if he doesnt do great we will be more likely to get something for him come the january transfer window than had TP been in charge.

Playing Palacios from the start next season will be like a complete brand new signing for us. The guy can pass, tough to knock off the ball, wants the ball, links well with Nzonzi and actually gives the lad an outlet for a change and works hard. Pulis should hang his head in shame at his treatment!

sounds just like the Tuncay situation of which I will never forgive Pulis

Totally agree Ricc. When we signed Tuncay I was the happiest man alive. I could not believe we had got a player of his calibre on our books. When he came on he looked fresh, exciting and wanted the ball and knew where the goal was. Pulis killed his spirit just like he did with Kitson and countless others!
