I worry about whoever we play! Its hardwired into my brain. Being promoted and top of the Championship for 3 months apparently hasnt changed that yet, what will it take i wonder?
Yes, it's difficult not to worry being a Saints fan, isn't it? Perhaps when we've won the Champions League for the 5th consecutive year we'll start to relax a bit!
No thanks. His lack of defensive qualities aside, he was given a go against Watford and did nothing, and was given a go against Doncaster and did nothing. To me, he's an impact player and nothing more (for now at least).
Personally I would start Holmes. I'm not sure why Nigel keeps playing 3 central midfielders in the side. Unless you are going to play a 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 it just doesn't work for me. Then again i'm not a manager!
Think we should drop guly to the bench regardless of it making the team weaker or not bring him on at half time if needs be, he needs to be shown that not putting his heart and soul on the line for saints especially against pompey is just not good enough.
Keep playing the attacking game, and get 3 points. This game will be my 1st in something like 6 years, and jave no idea when I will get to see the Saints play again!
Big decision for NA reference Guly for the Boxing Day game....if I was a betting man. I'd say he'll play him. I'm a Guly fan but not sure I would after a poor display at p**pey. Nothing to do with their goal because Guly's not a defender in any shape or form - it was his performance as an attacker, he looked way off the pace. However, I think the whole day was a big culture shock for the guy and he did play well in the previous 2 games Could really do with Chaplow and Connolly back to give us more options, also I think we have still to see the best of de Ridder, this headless chicken impression he's doing at the mo isn't representative of him and is due to an over-anxiety to do well IMO. I suspect once he relaxes a little, he will be a real asset
