That's a decent line up. Looks like De Gea, Fred, Martial have been given the night off lol. Van De Beek not even on the bench.

The bench looks a bit weak in terms of attacking options though.
 
Ah well, lets see how he and Matic do. They've been ok in the last couple of matches so...

If we draw this match, that would be three wins in twelve league games. 7 draws and 2 losses to Shield United and Burnley. Any other season, we would firmly be in sixth place with that kind of performance.
 
We've equalled the club record for 0-0 draws in a league season already <laugh>

The last time we had 3 successive 0-0 draws was under this bloke...

We're just running into a brick wall at the moment.

There's very little good about our performances, we've zero style or plan, none at all.

Really hate to be negative and that but, where are the positives exactly?
Not sure what those who say we must stay positive are seeing because what I see is a man who is not up to this level, sorry.

Like I said earlier, if I'm proven wrong I'll more than happily admit it.

I won't be though.

I really can't see us winning either cup competition either. In fact, I think Milan will do us.

We should be too good for Leicester though. Then lose the final. Will that be deemed progress?
 
I'd love someone to explain the tactics in that game beyond "pass the ball to Shaw".

The space between our midfield and attack was like the Grand Canyon. Completely disjointed.

The forwards were totally out of the game. The look of abject dejection from the likes of Rashford, Cavani, Bruno and Greenwood was telling throughout.
 
I don’t think any one wants to see the last few performances. It’s getting sad and I feel sorry for the dressing room. I actually feel bad for Ole. We are out of ideas at the minute.

I actually had quite a good run with matchday threads I'll have you know <whistle>

The next 4 games I'll be surprised if we win one. I'm not trying to be negative, just can't see anything else. Don't take that as a reason to start firing machine guns in here Cytrax ffs!

You do know Ole wasn't playing tonight. Do those ****ers on the pitch not know what to do when the whistle goes.............. c'mon. yes he's the boss but hey, you can't keep blaming Ole. He can't stop play, dash on the pitch and change things at will. It was a crap overall performance - our defence was exceptionally crap - I would sell Maguire now before anyone realises he's crap, Matic too and I'd rescind Greenwood's new contract because he's done **** all to earn it since it was signed.
