He isn't doing very well, i'm sorry but he was one of our worst players again today, he kept losing the ball, he is doing his best but he will be one of the first to be replaced, midfield is our weakest area. I was a bit annoyed that Willock came off ahead of him tbh. We need to stop being happy with mediocre players.

For me a midfielder working hard, missing loads of chances and giving the ball away is not someone doing well, the only time he keep the ball is if it's sideways or backwards. Get rid.
They haven't finished there mate..... he's not going to get in a top 4 side in England Spain France or Italy if you're being completely honest he's just not a quality player.

McTominay played over 30 games a season for Manure when they finished top 4. I'd much prefer Longstaff in our team than McTominay. Could we get someone better? Yes, possibly. Would it potentially mess up the dynamics of the team? Yes, possibly.

Longstaff gets an easy ride because he's from Newcastle... he's actually not playing badly but he isn't exactly great. If you asked opposition fans what they think you'd get told he's ****e .
Lower standards? You don't own the club mate. You don't decide who we buy or who gets selected. It's not about standards. Please don't start demanding a club that wins. All I'm saying is he's done well and works for the team dynamic Eddie has built. I've also said there are better out there and we will probably bring in better at some point. but they will also have to work for the team dynamic, not be some luxury superstar.
