I would have thought olddellboy that as SOD was interviewed some two weeks ago, and is currently out of work, that if PFC's owners were that keen on him, they would have appointed him by now. If he is viewed as the pick of the bunch, and wont cost us any compensation, why the delay ?

Are they waiting for someone else to become available ?!

At least our new owners are keeping their cards close to their chest, and unlike Peter Storrie, our chief exec (David Lampitt) doesn't do business in public.

Just my thoughts, but who knows what will happen.

By the way, another good win tonight for Saints - our December meeting should be interesting.

    Very good point gained.

Sounds like it should have been 3 though!

Anyway apparently you have Forest at home at the weekend, please at least draw as I think SC is a d!ck.

Just a personal opinion, always thought he's a bit like a chavvy farmer <laugh>

    Onwards and upwards eh <ok>

    Hi WoopertsDuck,

you guys had a good result at Palace - better than we managed! Our meeting in December will be interesting, and no matter the points gap at the time will be a lot closer than many people think. Derby games are very tight - i am expecting a similar result as in the Manchester Derby last week. ;-)

Apparently Mokoena did really well tonight - "did everything that was asked of him". Couldn't understand why Razak didn't go on, but I suppose the coaches had their reasons.

We're slipping down the table though as others around us are doing better.

RGLB - "chavvy farmer?" <laugh> I'm looking forward to Saturday - want our lads to kick his @rse, good and proper. Only because we need the points.

Ye good shout , I would take a 5-1 win at falling down park but I would prefer the score to beat my first visit there when we won 7-1

Our December meeting should be interesting? I can think of better descriptions. But am staying up til after midnight to get tickets (for a son and brother in law who have not attended enough matches).

Also, it was pointed out on the live commentary that if SOD had been at the Derby match...... someone would have got a photo of him, especially as there are cameras all around the place. Nobody is confident anymore that it will be him, and there is no press conference planned, so we are probably going to have to wait until Saturday for any news. Did I hear that Lampitt is in hospital having his tonsils out?

'Should of' is becoming this teams watchword. Kitson's miss was a real howler. We dominated things again without causing much fuss. Could have been an Ipswich all over again. Lawrence just not good enough. Not enough quality all round really although there was a greater effort all round, as said- even Moko had a fair game.

If it is to be Solskjaer (not sure about the spelling...) at least he'll be well qualified to show Kit's where the net is <doh>

Challenge looked o.k. to me in an 'Ibrahima Sonko' kind of way <laugh>

I say sign OGS and put him upfront alongside Guy, or bring in Steve Claridge on loan from Gosport <ok>
