The match summariser on Final Score on the BBC thought we were lucky too. Two words for both of them and the second one's OFF
And yet: Crystal Palace 0-1 Hull Posted at16:48 It will be cruel indeed if Hull don't hang on for the win. They have kept pushing forward and come close to a game-closing second, but Julian Speroni beats away Dame N'Doye's effort. GOAL Crystal Palace 0-2 Hull - Dame N'Doye (90 mins) Posted at16:50 please log in to view this image Getty Images Hull have deserved that! Dame N'Doye hammers hard, low and beyond Julian Speroni's despairing hand. Steve Bruce's men will stay clear of the drop tonight.
As I recall it was in relation to Brady's 'handball' for the first goal and the ball falling kindly for the second. Seemed very harsh to me
They played with passion and desire today. Palace weren't too shabby, looked a couple of decisions went against us, need to review them on MOTD, although for some reason I didnt think Clattenburg did too bad, made some cracking right decisions. I might have felt different if we'd lost of course. Looking at a write up of Liverpools game, we really should be looking for 3 more points against them.
Good game today, I was right behind the Allam protest, might see myself on MOTD lol Thought Chester looked comfortable, slotted back nicely. When they scored the ruled off equalizer I had to have a little sit down, FFS what a scare
A great afternoon: cracking away atmosphere, great performance from the lads and a deserved three points. Been a while since we could say our lads wanted it more than the oppo did. A few observations: Aside from motivation, the other big factor was Bruce's selection and formation: round pegs in round holes at last! Everyone knew their job inside out. Did James Chester put a single foot wrong in the whole match? What a classy player he is. Things back there feel more secure with Harper than with McGregor. Huddlestone and Livermore were more like their old selves today (apart from when Tom was slipping over). If there are two City players I want to succeed more than any others, it's Quinniesta and Rosey. Only the woodwork kept it from being an even better day. Zaha was ****ing diabolical. When someone is a despicable diving cheat, it gives me great pleasure to see him let his team down like that.
what a lift having a few tonight at last can look forward to match of the day, get behind the lads Tuesday and lets hope we can take them on and get something from it, watched today in club every single player showed the courage and battle that we have been lacking and yes we really deserved this result, lets hope for more of the same
I have a stat earlier which still rings true. Steve Harper has never conceded a goal against Crystal Palace (in 5)
Matt Le Tissier covered it for Sky and believed we were fully deserving. They can talk about the Brady handball in relation to the first goal but in the first half we should have had a penalty for them hand balling it in the box. Swings and roundabouts.
Agreed, but to be fair I'm waiting to see MOTD to see whether they should have had a pen for Chester handling in the frenzied clearance when they nearly scored early on
Just read the report on BBC and listened with a massive smile on my face to Pardew throwing his toys out the pram and crying like a little bitch about the ref, what a dick, made himself look a RIGHT ****
I noticed he had a fat lip. I wonder which player gave him that. Pardew clearly hates us. It's not our fault he made an utter **** of himself by trying and failing horribly to headbutt our player.
