Perhaps they should all be given a Shakespeare play and each one of them can be designated a character which they have to act out. But in all seriousness it is a bit sad that everyone wants to sit there in their own little world rather than talking or socialising. I guess they see a lot of each other in the week and maybe it helps them focus. But maybe this underlines the barriers we are introducing when really humans are social animals. No wonder people get depressed.
Mobile phones are useful and I use them when I need to sort something out, but I hate seeing people walking together when one is chatting on the phone. As you walk by you can hear it's drivel. The saddest thing is a young mum chatting on the phone whilst pushing a baby buggy. When I took my son out I spent the whole time pointing things out and engaging with him. My firm has banned mobile phones at the lunch table because it's so disruptive (though texting is permitted).
Totally agreed kids need attention and so do all people. It is all very well being able to communicate via the internet which has had a massive impact on our lives but you also have to consider the consequences of people buying everything off Amazon or only talking on here instead of leaving the house.
What pisses me of the most is the people that chat on their phones using loud speaker. It's like yeah really want to listen to your ****ty life story and how your such a slag you let a buffalo shag you.
Did you have kids in buggies before mobile phones were fashionable? Would have been pretty easy not to be distracted by it. Children from the 50s onwards would listen to music on any journey too if they could fit their entire collection onto a device smaller than a chocolate bar. Its easy to say that when you didn't grow up with recent technology (I'm not calling you old btw, I'm only 19 and the first technology I can remember was pretty basic).
I reckon it'll be: -------------------------Bialkowski-------------------------- --Butterfield-----------Martin---------Fonte---------Harding-- --De Ridder-------Schneiderlin----Ward-Prowse--Reeves/Dickson-- ---------------------Guly-------Forte---------------------- Subs: Davis, H.Dean, Richardson, Cork, Reeves/Dickson, Lambert, Barnard. Holmes is apparently injured, again.
Solent have confirmed no Hooiveld or Fonte, whilst Chaplow has confirmed himself that he's not involved.
Bialkowski. Butterfield, Martin, Cork, Harding. De Ridder, Ward-Prowse, Schneiderlin, Holmes. Reeves, Forte Subs: Dovey, Dean, Moore, Richardson, Guly, Lambert and Barnard
Was about to comment on the lack of Dickson in the squad, but I've just seen that he's tweeted that he's out injured.
Don't people read the youth games reports on the OS? If you did you'd know who these players were! Not having a pop, just saying.....
