Just read some posts on the palace forum. Of course I wanted to win the game, but they make it sound like they have just won the world cup. Apparently they had their reserves out and now think they can win the league and beat Arsenal in the next round.
Ive been thinking the same, I went to the game last night with some Palace friends, (I of course was in the saint end) and they really think they are some great team as soon as they string a few results together, Ive seen it before, they get all cocky, they think zaha is better than lallana, when they have nerver seen him play. Zaha is good. I haven't seen him play, so I can't compare him to Lallana. I look forward to playing them in the league with a full sstrength side. Not much to choose between the 2 sides last night, so its set to be a good game when we play with forwards who can finish. That second story is entirely untrue. I know we release the ones that don't cut the mustard, but I don't think we cleared out totally even when we were in administration.
