Iâm not arguing that either should stay, unfortunately it has reached that time, and no one is going to argue about trimming off the excess, it is the âGood Riddanceâ that you put âWell Saidâ to that has incensed me. I believe there should be some form of tribute at the ground to Rowly, Cookie, Wild Thing, Birch, Big Dan, Kev, Furs* and of course Ollie for reversing what looked like the terminal decline of our club. Well said Rollercoaster, i agree with you 100%. Several of these players gave their all over the years. Most of them were great Champ players but unfortunately cannot be involved in the next chapter of our exciting future. I hope all our released players suceed elsewhere.
That's fair enough Roller. To be fair though it wasn't me who said good riddance, I was just agreeing with LoftBoy's sentiment i.e. time to move on, not really the way he put it. Apologies nonetheless. Indeed they do not deserve a "good riddance" or anything of the sort. Rowlands in particular; legend.
