Sorry D but there's a lot of that I just don't agree with. He isn't a superstar for the reserves (my words not yours) he's hit and miss even there. Good games and bad like most regulars for that team. He's never been the shining light even at that level enough to force a regular run of games in the first team. He HAS had a chance to cement a first team place and get regular games when out on loan and yet again has totally failed to look anything above average even against lower standard opposition. The argument about managers DOES stand up. Simply put, even taking all the previous three out of the equation, Rodgers has put no faith in him either instead prefering to use Suso and Sterling (rightly) ahead of him even though given his age he should have developed a lot more than either of them by now. Even BR who seems to have no qualms about playing youngsters has played Downing and Cole in front of him. When given a chance he's failed miserably to look even remotely useful.
Pacheco's had five Premier League appearances: four in 2009-10 and another one in 2010-11. He got eight european games under his belt (three and five in the respective seasons) around that time too, we wasn't playing in a totally second eleven in those games! He also got one League Cup game but the less said about the side that faced Northampton the better He's been on loan with Norwich where he did okay but still only played six games (scoring two). He had a season at Rayo Vallecano where he played eleven times scoring a grand total of ****all goals All in all, he's played in thirty-six first team games and scored a total of two Championship goals! I know he hasn't had a settled position or starting place but in that amount of games you would have thought we would have seen some of that ability that he shows in youth and reserve games!
