There's no defence to pace. Apart from No one for parts of the last 2 seasons, City have lacked pace up front. Like to see more pace throughout the team, and more slick passing & movement. City used to be electric on the break with Dave Jones' teams. I want to see that sort of football but a much tighter defence.

I agree to an extent about La Fondre but I still believe he's an excellent signing.

Maynard can play with anyone as he's a clever player.

Macheda, Guerra, KWJ should all be able to play the big/hold up man role.

La Fondre, Maynard, Mason, Campbell (if he stays) should all enjoy having a strike partner to play 'off'. I haven't seen anything of Berget to know how he'll fit in.

Nice to talk about football again - wont be long now before all the theories and opinions we hold are either proven or blown away - can't wait. <ok>

I'm away for 4 days and I'm missing our first 2 home games! <steam>

Still can't wait to get started though.

Trying to work out what games I can get to in the NW. Managed a couple last year. Possibly Bolton and Wigan this.
