in fairness while it would be hilarious to see the bitters spitting blood rafa would cost too much. Everton will want to pay about a 3rd of what rafa would want.
For the record, I don't think Rafa will ever become Everton manager. Just pointing out that there is another club other than the ones Jenners highlighted
I'd be funnier watching rawk explode in a fume fest tbh, as there'd be a section of your fanbase that'd go into orbit. As for costing too much - Moyes was one of the best paid managers in the PL & earned £3m a year at Everton.
yes i'd admit if LFC fans saw rafa take over at everton they'd go mad completely cos they'd yes be afraid everton would top them again. Rafa did a 6 month stint at chelsea to get his name back in and he's got them 3rd and a Europa final. his salary will be 6mil per year. thats whay he's not taking the jobs offered. he's looking for mega money and mega "projects" . I think his wages were higher at inter than 5mil, anyway... I would think you'll not want to pay 3mil to the next guy in.
Not surprised by it but bit unlucky for Mancini, years of nothing and he makes them title challengers, and then wins the FA Cup then Premiership and then comes runner up in both the following season. I do think the whole "title was won in August when United signed RVP ahead of them" is a load of rubbish. Are they saying that Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko, Ballotelli, Silva, Nasri & Toure isn't enough attacking threat to mount a challenge? I do however think the fact they signed Rodwell & Sinclair (who between them have played about 3 games of football all year) was a massive panic buy after not getting their first choices and didn't help that they didn't properly strenghten once they'd won the title. Wouldn't be surprised to see Benitez offered if, if it doesn't go to this Pellegrino guy. Proven in the Champ League which is surely what the City owners will now want to progress in next year.
dzeko started ok but the others all had issues, oh and nasri is the most over rated player on earth.... I think personally their sqaud looked poor their midifeld IS yaya and bascially milner and barry are donkeys at this level, also they missed adam jonhson a bit surprisingly. they lost kompany for a stretch too and hart looked more interested in hair products than keeping.... all in all they were sterile for long stretches. should have done a lot better but could not get goals.
the auld beeb sports are enjoying Roberto's sack as much as United's 20th league win and Fergie tribute.
Tobes. My mate has no news on a replacement yet, but he's as certain as he can be at this stage that it won't be Rafa
