Zelalem is the future for Arsenal. He just bagged his 5th assist in 7 games for Rangers. Kid is something special.
A bit early to tell. You'll have to wait until the end of the season and assess his performance then.
True but he does have a certain classiness that's very rare for a player of his age. Technically he looks very good. Daniel Crowley also looks like an exciting midfield prospect.
He is playing in the second division of the Scottish league, ffs. To proclaim someone as the future of a club based on performances in that league is utterly ridiculous.
I seen some of the games and the standard is probably worse. We should have sent him out on loan to a Championship club in England. From everything I read, Zelalem has not even been our most impressive loanee, Maitland Niles has been excellent for Ispwich in the Championship from what I have read.
Very inconsistent player, that may be because he is played in a different position every week though.
I'm excited about jenkinson the most he's been very consistent for West ham I wouldn't be against selling debuchy at the end of the season and having jenkinson and bellerin fighting for that spot
I'm amazed at how poor Debuchy has been since he came back from injury - I was expecting him to provide real competition to Bellerin, what with his defensive stability, experience and good positioning - but he's playing like a liability at the moment.
I'm excited at Bellerin, he has progressed so far since he made his debut against Dortmund, just in 1 year he has come leaps and bounds, we have something very special in him. What I also like about him is that he's an Arsenal man, he wants to be here, he enjoys being here, and he feels part of the system.
It's a weird one. He clearly has ability but he's not showing it at the moment. Who knows what goes through people's minds post injuries, guess it varies player to player. Hopefully he'll recapture his old form and provide strong back up to Hector but it will be hard to do as I can't see him getting many chances. Can see him wanting out come January and if that's the case I wouldn't be adverse to bringing the Corporal back. I'd offer £80m + 1p for Coutinho and, once Rodgers has finished jizzing himself at the 18 decidedly average players he can sign from Southampton with the money, pull out of the deal yelling psyche psyche psyche!
IMO Debuchy is off this summer and Jenks gets the #2 RB spot. We're pretty good FB wise tbh. Even though he's been poor as of late Debuchy, with a run of games, is still good for a #2 RB.
Toral was good for Brentford last season. He wasn't starting all of the time, as there was quite a lot of competition for places, but he did pretty well. Warburton likes loaning players from Spurs and Arsenal, as he's continued to do so at Rangers, as someone noted above.
Last night was another classic example of a game that needed a more dynamic #10. The openings were few are far between. We needed a player to come up with something by himself (i.e having a pop from around the box). This is not blaming Ozil as it is not his game. Teams are gonna sit back against us and WILL succeed. This is what I mean when I say he is not working for us. Ultimately AW is the problem but we know he not going anywhere anytime soon.
Just thought I should come back and say this: Ozil has really impressed me recently. He seems to have changed his game to suit whoever is playing up top. He is a lot more stronger the ball and showing more desire. I will backtrack here and say it is more imperative that we get a suitable supporting cast around him and not get rid of him. He is showing he can prosper in this league. So fair play to him. Wenger needs to do the right thing.
