Or is it a case of Spain much worse than thought.

Just what Holland needed to ground them , a close come from behind win against a subpar opponent .Holland wont have another bad game and Spain will have another shortly .Holland and Chiile to come out of this group imo ...

Well done socceroos, and hard luck. Put out by two of the most skilful teams in the tournament and now two of the favourites. It's interesting to know that a fair bulk of the squad come from the A league. Aussies will always be proud of their sporting teams but the headlines are QLD 4 NSW 6 State of Origin, NSW's first series win in 8 years with an attendance of 84,000 in Sydney. Cahill shines above all of them!

Great effort by Aus, well done. Never a penalty but was still glad to see it go in as it added to making it a great game.

I must say I never thought I'd see someone taking Robben's diving crown but fair play to Leckie! That boy's got a future in high diving when he retires from football.

shame I missed the match being on at 2am and me having to get up at 530am (maybe I need to harden up) but Cahill's goal was a bottler. Spain to go, shame Cahill is suspended however Ange has done the right thing and brought in some youth which should have been done 2 years ago. someone in a previous post mentioned tommy Oar, I have been saying for 2 years the Swans should have bought him, ok rant over
