Win or it is over, I think it is almost over anyway and a win will only give us a bit more of a chance, but they just need to get a win today.
Yes we need to win but if Crewe get a result we're still 4 points off the playoffs. If they lose and Oxford lose to us we're a point off, with three games left.
According to the BBC website, we've only had one shot. Got to push more players up. A point is no good.
Listening to oxford commentary as they actualy comment on the game. Mentioned an interesting conspiracy theory. That scally wants to play swinedon behind clothes doors so that Swindon will field a weakens side. The theory being they would want to clinch promotion in front of a big crowd. Don't think even our esteemed chairman could be that synical!
It will be the lower teams to have undone us again this season. The six points against D&R, a couple of home cock ups,........it doesn't take much when you're playing on the edge of the playoffs. Got to go for the autos next time......and kill off these (dare I say it) lesser teams nice and early. A streak of ruthlessness is needed, not a lot of huffing and puffing.....and getting nowhere for a lot of effort. Scored loads of goals this season....let too many in via a poor defence. What a joke from us today no chance at all of going up at all. On the other hand I had 3 wins on the grand national I had a bet on the winner a bet on 4th place and also had a bet with Paddy power on the 5th place.
Crewe still have to play cheltenham and southend. Oxfords games not simple either. 3 wins could still do it. At least it keeps the interest going until the Swindon game.
