    I believe we will win

Oxford v city is a fixture i always assosicate
But looking, we didnt play each other from 1991 to 2001 or so
And then after we got promoted in 2004, we didnt play till the league 1 season in 2021

Was a regular fixture when i started being a city fan at least

Belloumi will score a wonder goal
    Bedia or pedro will score
And id like to see jarvis on the left, his best position iirc?

Is Brantford close to Bampton Ont. Though I guess its part of the wider Toronto area. My uncle and aunt lived there before heading over to NotL (Niagara on the Lake) or has Dave calls it Niagara on the Take.

I think that is the problem that Tim and his staff don't know the answers I'm not even convinced they know what the problem is

    Feels like a pivotal game.

The total collapse in performance after they scored on Saturday was quite shocking. If there's a hangover from that which carries into this game then I can only see us losing and then I'd be surprised if Walter makes the weekend.

We need to see a serious response. A clear display that the team is playing for Walter. I said something similar after we were outfought by Sheffield United. We then unexpectedly beat Stoke after a sloppy first half and then won the next two as well. So he has turned it around before. This one feels bigger though.

It’s a double pivotal game at the very least.

Oxford United haven’t won in 8 games.

City haven’t won in 4 games.

West Brom, incidentally, haven’t won in 7 games.

its gonna be a big week for the Tigers.

Perhaps you're thinking of Brampton sir ?
Used to play for Air Canada against a Brampton football team in the Airport League occasionally out there about 35 years ago. Correction...more like 45 years ago when I lived in Port Credit !

Brampton is about 16 miles NE of Mississauga, 11 miles E of Pearson International Airport or a drive of 90 miles around the lakeshore to Niagara on the Lake. Probably classified as being in the Greater Toronto West area.

Good stat. Unfortunately I was probably there! 16 year old unleashed from the fold! Not happening at 70+ years old!

I'm almost certain your wish to see the back of tim will be granted if we don't win tonight. Acun was not a happy bunny post game Saturday

If any of the three are going to end their streaks, it won't be us. After all, helping out teams on a bad run is what we do best

I think he must be close.

If I had a wish, it would have been that we could compete constantly, not just game to game but half to half.

Even games we won we haven’t come close to competing throughout the game. Stoke, we could easily have been 3 or 4 down at half time. QPR, I think Pandur kept us in it magnificently & even Cardiff, at times, suggested a comeback,

It’s the performances rather than the results. We’re no better now than day 1. I called it early (very unlike me to call for a manager to lose his job) because I couldn’t see it improving. He doesn’t appear to have the attributes needed to manage in a competitive league. The performances back this up.

The added time he’s been given could prove costly if we end up appointing a competent Manager/Coach. We have a decent set of players just a coach leading the in the wrong direction. Hopefully we’ll sort it soon.

I would prefer us to win tonight though & put in an A+ performance & build on it.

    Gutted I can’t make it.

I don't think we're at the stage he would be sacked off the back of a bad result yet, more likely that if we lose there's a conversation saying you have so many games to show improvements. Personally I'd like to stick with a more patient approach and see him get through another window making some more changes he feels we need now he's had a good chance to see how the players can or can't fit in to the system.

I think we need at least 1 win from the next 2 games and a marked improvement
in performance from the Portsmouth game

Zambrano in for one of slater/simmons for me, agreed drameh isn’t a long-term solution but I’d still rather have him until we bring in a left-footed left back who looks remotely up for it. I’d start Chris too but his goal on the weekend probably keeps him in.

Pre-match write up in the HDM suggests we might have two up front tonight, Burstow and Bedia or Perdro.

He hinted as much yesterday... even 5 at the back... maybe pragmatism might be seen tonight...?

Simon Gray got us to the old Manor Ground.
    At half-time.
And we were already 4-0 down.
