Well shipmates were going down as things stand, and this time I suspect we won’t get the McCann bounce back. Oh dear. It was a carbon copy of Saturday, except we weren’t quite as good in the first half, and we didn’t score from our golden chance (just like Saturday). I suspect Acun already wanted out - he will now.

Glad people are starting to realise the manager can only do so much! Quite hard to win games with 3 **** strikers.

McCann won football games with Eaves
    Bruce won with Proschwitz

    Respectfully he should adapt

I'm sorry, the strikers get about 10 touches a game in his system.

The only time they get more is when they're played on the ****ing wing.

The strikers don't even get a chance to get in the game.

I don't know if they're **** or not, frankly. Cos this stupid ****ing system.

As other have said we should have been out of sight my HT, the chances we missed, they had 2 and scored one. I do have some sympathy for TW, Omur should have done better in the first half, Belloumi was unlucky when he hit the post, as was Bedia late on which just went the wrong side of the post. As TW said, he cannot put the ball in the back of the net for them.

The game last night was crying out for Millar, someone who takes on defenders with pace, a pity he is missing.

Overall, the players do not look comfortable with the system, in the 2nd half we just looked lost for ideas, and Oxford kept us at arms length. Giles for me just doesn't look like he wants to be with us, which is also head scratching, why?

It will be interesting to see now if Acun sticks or twists, we are in a bit of a rut, can we come out of it?

OK, slightly different question, did one player miss all those chances? The point is that we will still miss chances because teams at our level do, if we create more chances we'll score more. It's the creation which is the number one problem.

I do watching him, but I ain't Jesus....Maybe Stewart is not a good example, but I've seen nothing to think he's any better.

Plus that was one of several player assessments. What about the rest? You've got an opinion on most things. Most of them wrong.

middle ground on this one....don't think he's been utter ****, but he's not been good last 2 games, numerous errors in both games...do agree that if macca made those same errors the perception would be v different

<laugh> I responded to that one, as it was the only one that was ridiculous, he's our most talented player and he (and Pandur) are the only two players to come out of the last two games with any credit.

Last 2 second halves have. It's no good being a 45 minute team - which is what we've become. What is Wally saying to the players at HT that makes them so poor in the 2nd half? He hardly strikes me as being inspirational.

2 points from 3 games against the 3 very poor newly promoted teams is a woeful return - and shows the way we are heading under Wally

Walter should be retained if we continue to progress after a difficult summer of rebirth.

In the last two matches we have not progressed and have arguably gone backwards. We absolutely HAVE to start improving again on Sunday. I’m not sure that’s going to happen tbh.

Personally think the players have lost respect. I don’t get how some of the main leaders of this team can’t see them through tough moments in games unless there’s a genuine disconnect. Our last 4 games the second we’ve conceded it’s like all attacking intent goes to cack.

Yeah, maybe Trev....Maybe I'm just to pissed off by my team that I'm not thinking straight and hitting out at anything that moves...Kind of makes me think I've got to drop this for my sanity and health. Have a nice day.

Not posted after a bit of a **** day yesterday and half heartedly watched the match with my head elsewhere.
Reading back and someone, can’t remember who, said there’s too much pressure on the centre backs to start play.
    And that was my thoughts
Jones and Hughes are primarily defenders but by the second half they looked knackered particularly Hughes.
    Same with lewie
I can’t remember ever seeing a full back and centre backs doing so much running carrying the ball.
No wonder Hughes gives daft fouls towards the end , he was out on his feet last night.
This has to stop, probably Walters getting the Spanish archer as I speak but if he isn’t he can not continue with that.
I said after we scored against Pompey I’d be happy with a grim 1-0
But we can not hold onto anything no wonder as defenders are made to be attackers!!

on chances I’ve commented many times on players side footing a chance
It drives me ****ing mental a pro player who doesn’t have the confidence to hit a ball properly but takes the easy option of “making sure” by side footing it!!! Yep I mean omur

again I’ve said many times shearer scored so many goals cos his teammates fed him
How many chances did pedro get yesterday? None
Bedia one chance and he should have done better

someone will be our new manager I imagine
But we’ve all the hallmarks of a relegated team
Tho it should be easy for a new bloke to get them tighter defensively and stay up
But I have no confidence in acun getting it right.
He is to blame for the summers late recruitment and ultimately it’s going to cost him financially.
