Oxford United Vs The Gas Game Thread

Doubt we will score! If we do it will be a penalty I bet.

 

Don't want to be pessimistic, but I can't see us getting anything from this.

 

Taylor for them has gone off and a CM has come on. Apparently this means Oxford dont have an actual forward on the pitch now. Roofe aint a forward but now playing in that role.

 

DC will sort out the tactics at halftime

 

I would take a point now. But if we can keep frustrating them and keep Roofe quiet, we may have a chance.

Leadbitter cross and Taylor headed it but was block on way toward the goal.

The longer we can frustrate them, the more I am feeling positive.

It was an even match last year at the Mem, then Roofe created a bit of magic and they got all 3 points. We're a good team, but don't have a Roofe type of player.

Oxford did sound dangerous when they attacked. But we have defended well. We need to take our chances. Corners have been our best chances so far.
