Oxford United Vs The Gas Game Thread

First shot by Rovers was Gaffney shooting well over.

 

This ref apparently given out a red card in over a 3rd of his games that he has been involved with.

 

Rovers were on attack but lost it and Roofe ran at Rovers well supported by other Oxford players and they counter attacked us. Cross came in and a free header went wide.

 

Oxford are beginning to run things.

Gas on the attack

 

A quick counter of our own and Lines with a great ball for Gaffney who wins a corner.

Lockyer wins a header from the corner but straight at the keeper. Was a great chance to get a goal then!

 

Commentator said earlier that they are the other end of the travelling gas. So imagine the atmosphere amongst them!

 

Another corner to us. Gaffney header from the corner which fell nicely to Clarke but wasted his chance!

Lines shot deflected which took the sting out of it and easily saved by the keeper.

 

Same issue though. Creating but not taking our chances.
