Still not sure why Woodards would be on the left of midfield this didn't really work out I can Broghammer back on the left and you like said Anyinsah may not start so he will most likely be replaced with Woodards on the right instead.
Oxford United News: Peter Leven set to miss rest of season Oxford United midfielder Peter Leven is set to miss the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery. The 29-year-old has been a key member of Oxford's squad this season, playing 25 times and scoring six goals. His last game was against Southend last Saturday and his absence is a blow to the club's play-off aspirations. Manager Chris Wilder is already without keeper Ryan Clarke and defender Michael Duberry, while Andy Whing and Tom Craddock are only just returning.
TEAM NEWS Oxford United could welcome back midfielder Lewis Montrose from a hamstring injury but the game could come too soon for Andy Whing. Tom Craddock has been ruled out with a groin injury while Peter Leven is missing with a knee injury. Bristol Rovers have no new injury worries as they look to extend their unbeaten run to five games. Garry Kenneth, Matt Harrold, Adam Virgo, Matt Gill (all knee) and Scott Bevan (wrist) are long-term absentees. VIEWS FROM THE TRAINING GROUND Oxford United boss Chris Wilder told BBC Radio Oxford: "It's a big game and a big fixture in this league. "They've had a couple of tight games and a couple of great away results. We know that this is going to be a difficult fixture for us and one we won't underestimate regardless of the league position. "They will know they need to keep the consistency going and we know we need to put together a run of results to get to where we want to be. "We are looking to get back on track, we are not a million miles away and we have to make sure the performance gets us three points," Bristol Rovers manager John Ward told BBC Radio Bristol: "It's been great - we've had two late goals and they've been exciting, and counted big time. "But if we go to Oxford and get sloppy and lazy then what's the point? "That will be the message to the team and to the supporters. It's about working hard together."
i may have jinxed us. on the betting thread on wycombes board i have won a lot when not betting on rovers. but then lost it all when betting on rovers. so been avoiding betting on rovers but i have stupidily betted on rovers to win
I think we'll keep a clean sheet this time and win 1-0 or 2-0. It's going to be a tough nailbiter though.
anyone on here tomorrow for the game with me? i hear we should be talking 2000 plus fans tomorrow. so thats over 8500 at home vs barnet then over 1500 at cheltenham as i am aware of quite a few in the home end who couldnt get tickets in the away end. and now 2000 plus fans away to oxford. not bad for a team fighting a relegation battle of the football league.
I will be on here that's why I've started all the dusting, scrubbing and hoovering early so I can sit down and shout at the radio
Worse for me. I can't hear it and can only follow this or BBC. Hate to put the knockers on it but I felt we would equalise against Barnet and have a feeling that we will win this one. Depends on who scores first. If we are as good as the form table says; and bear in mind we have played top clubs throughout that patch, at some stage we should take somebody apart!
Sapph, to help you with updates, what would you like from us to make you enjoy this thread more? Going by previous match threads, will the same be ok or do you want more? Let us help you enjoy it more today. What would you like?
I had a similar experience, but believe it or not it was when we played you lot at home!! I was walking to the ground with some gashead friends of mine having a bit of banter getting loud. The old bill decided to search me outside the old open end as my friends walked into your end I was ushered into it by the old bill. I tried explaining bu he was being a cock and having none of it!! I had to stand there and shut my gob when either scored.
