I left the Honeymonster out of my Top-3 for the first time this season, but even below his own high standards his work rate, creativity, and amazing vision (eyes in the back of his head ??) make him one of the first names on the team sheet. However I do feel that the Shrewsbury game against lower-ranked opposition would be a good opportunity to leave the Monster in his cave to enjoy a well-earned rest. Docherty is now showing the energy and attacking capabilities he was signed for, Smallwood is a solid calming presence in center-mid, and both Alfie Jones and young Batty deserve more playing time. Lets see if McCann agrees.
^ this for me too .. Doc was outstanding capped by the goal but thought both our full backs today were exceptional
