Ki will never do as well for us as he plays in Michu's position. For Sunderland he is played there, under us he wasn't and never will be while Michu is fit.
He wanted football this year and that was something we couldn't guarantee him at the start of the season.

Giving our players credit when they deserve it is hardly blowing smoke. You should try it once in a while. Even ivor admitted JDG had a good game today. The difference of course is that he actually understands the game. <ok>

So you've tried it 'once in a while'. Well done. <applause> But Davies is a favourite isn't he? JDG is a pantomime villain that can do no right as far as some blinkered fans are concerned. If he has a good game just stay silent eh?

The guy had a cracking game today and was unlucky not to score. All I'm saying AGAIN is give credit where it's due.

I think you'll find I'm full of praise for our players that put a shift in, at the minute there are not many of our players doing it!...

Did you watch today's game? If so you cannot possibly say any of our players didn't "put a shift in". And no, I can't remember when you were "full of praise" for anyone unless you include Daiswan.

Matthew Bound - please stop using reply with quote when dealing with Dai as I have him on ignore. I'm now sick & tired of posting this.

Dai - carry on and you'll be banned - AGAIN. You can train a dog to behave so why is it you and your new best mate have trouble learning basics of behaviour?

Ki didnt play in that role yesterday.

He played the role Carrick plays for Man U.

Id say he was in the role Britton plays for u.

Definately not in the Michu role yesterday. Probably Sunderlands best player.

Another reason why he was always gonna find it hard to get regular first team football with us. 3rd choice behind Canas and Britton aswell. I just dont get that just because he is doing ok for them that he would for us ( he clearly didnt do enough when he was here) bottom line is he has more of a chance playing for them than us as we have better midfield players to choose from.

Said it before and I'll say it again - I really like Ki because he has an eye for a pass and is a cultured footballer. But JDG gets it in the neck here for not tracking back and not making tackles and Ki is twice as bad in that department. Did it again yesterday for one of the goals. If you're a holding midfield player you have to be prepared to stick a foot in too. That's why Ki's best role is as an AM - he has a superb shot on him.

Would he get ahead of Michu and Shelvey as an AM? Not a chance if he wants to start every game with the World Cup coming up. Would he get ahead of Canas or Britton in a deeper role? No. He may challenge JDG but the latter has the highest assists stats at the club so he isn't as good at providing chances or indeed defensively, where De Guzman has improved immeasurably in recent games.

So the upshot is yes I'd have him back here but only if and when he's prepared to accept time on the bench. He may get more opportunities when JDG goes.

Was that necessary? Completely uncalled for. My post was football related and not abusive to anyone in the slightest. If you can't debate properly just **** off.

But I see you and your mate Dai have now been banned from Jackarmy.net as well. Making a habit of it aren't you? Why aren't you getting the message?

Ki does look good playing for a club propping up the prem. Lets face it Pozuello would look like Messi if he played for them.

Ki played well in patches, didn't make a tackle and frequently gave the ball away. In terms of end product and general play Kim outplayed him, would Kim get in our side ? nope

Comedy dai and his stand up partner, Dragon P, Swansea's own Keith Harris and Orville, appear to have lost the ability to see, both unable to translate reality due to it differing from their Mantras i.e. JDG is poor, Laudrup is poor, Wrong on both counts IMHO boys, by the way, which one's the dummy ???.

Yesterday De Guzman had another decent game for us. We dominated the game especially in midfield. Our chronic issue is that our threat stops as we hit the opposition penalty area.

Hernandez, Lamah, Routledge, Dyer, Taylor, Tiendalli, Ben Davies and Rangel get into great positions but ALWAYS deliver mute balls to our strikers. Their crosses, passes, into the box are frequently off line, to no one in particular or are easily and inevitably intercepted by static defenses. No quality or threat comes from our flanks whether they cut infield or not. Its been a persistent issue this year and is why our strikers are starving.

    Swansea City 2 - 0 Man City, I have a dream <ok>
