There was a lot of Blunts saying credit to Hull City not selling out their allocation, it cost Wendies £1M in gate receipts
I've just read the FL take half the gate money & food/drink profits to share between the other FL clubs. The other half is split between the competing teams but the agreement means the loser takes it. I like this, rubbing their nose in it a little more.

"The other thing is would you rather go up with Bruce as manager with a typically physical side or stay with Carlos in the championship? Personally I would rather stay playing this football in the championship "
"I enjoyed the originality of the whole day, but I can see why Hull fans - having been down for three huge games in the previous four years, were a bit 'Meh' about it all. " Not four years but I understand his point.
I haven't looked at the statistics but I think a lot of teams fade after losing in the play-offs. Personally I don't think Wednesday have a chance of promotion now. The three clubs who went down from Premier League and Brighton and Derby have a much better chance. If we had lost it would have been a disaster. How many players would we have lost?
It was obviously the previous three visits they were talking about so that would have been eight years.
That's one of the best I've ever read. Did they even watch the final? There isn't a single sane person on the planet who could say they played 'better' football than us that day.
Most of the starting 11 at Wembley would have gone. Birmingham will also do well next season if they keep Rowett
The only reason I can think of that someone would make that connection is that Bruce is old, English and allegedly old-fashioned. Plus he seems to try to come across thick in interviews. In terms of the football, I think he's too defensive at times and far from perfect but I don't think we've ever been physical and have always tried to play a lot of short passes under Bruce, arguably too much in some people's view. It's absurd to say we're an ugly physical side.
