    I think Emile is also still available on a free so maybe we could recreate the former England strike force. Then maybe we could dig up Stanley Matthews and I understand that Kenny Dalgleish is also currently seeking work..........

    £60k a week on a 10 games a season man - no thanks!

    Well, clearly it wouldn't be £60k a week, I think he was only on about £20k at Old Trafford (plus numerous bonuses no doubt).
    There are many many many strikers I would be concerned about signing, Owen isn't one of them - I think he would be a gamble, undoubtedly, but one I'd be delighted to take.
