Owen - is he really such a whiny bitch?

    Whiny or not, it's something that I agree with. Our best season with Owen at the club was when we also had Heskey, Litmanen and Fowler (later Anelka) to share the burden with him

    Lets face it, LFC have a issue of over relying on 1 or 2 players, which we did with Owen. However a player that relies on having an extra yard of pace will always be crap later in his career unless he can adapt to a different game. Owen had a chance to improve his footballing skill at Real and evolve into a better all round player and he either wasn't good enough or couldn't be bothered. Either way he hasn't changed his style of play to suit his age and that's why he is now crap. You cant stop the aging process Owen just be thankful you were successful in your peak and settle down to the horse racing.

    Honestly, I don't see how he's 'whining.' Don't get me wrong, I hate him as much as the next guy. But he said he was overplayed, but admits that he wanted to play as much as he did. He then goes on to say he wouldn't change it if he could, so it's not like he's bitter or anything...
