He has returned to training umpteen times during the last three years so that's nothing new. Only that he has always got injured again. In all likelihood that will happen once again if he's made to train hard daily. If.
Yes he might have been seemingly fit at some points during the last three years but he has always got injured again without playing almost any first-team football. He's never again going to be able to maintain full fitness for an extended period which is a requrement of a footballer at the highest level. And in the link you posted SAF says there is a mental barrier moving into first-team training. The thing is, for the majority of the last three years he has not been enough for the problem to arise. That for me says pretty clearly that the biggest problem is nothing psychological. Are you really suggesting that SAF has been lying all this time about his physical state, that we've spent fortunes on medical costs just to cover it up? Come on.
And how exactly did you deduce from those videos that he's training 'at the level of a professional footballer' ? Those short clips prove squat. He can do some decent looking training for 14 seconds to get a clip for the internet, OK, but doing that for hours, every day, week in week out, that's a different matter entirely. And I think the last three years have clearly shown he can't handle that.
I can do that stuff for 40 seconds, possibly 400. I'm also a heavy drinker, smoke 20+ a day and live on crap food. Proves nothing.
