I have...paid 70 quid...was at Rookery a Hall, Chesire. Can remember having this little cup of buttery Potato soup between my starter and main..was well tasty...mmmm. Not worth 70 quid though...not much is on a plate
how many courses were there? were there about 5 courses of small amounts of food? I've never been to one and am curious if its worth the dosh.
Actually I have been to a wedding reception at the Grosvenor in Chester but I don't remember that being anything special.
Only 3...the food was quality though Went to this other place a few weeks back...£50 a sitting...9 course taster menu. I didn't even get to choose what I was getting. Some vile ****...raw mackerel was one...raw eels in some watery thing that looked like a swamp and tasted like one...****ing ****e. I didn't pay or I wouldn't have gone...gimmicky stuff. It was more a Hipstery set up...ponces. Very different to the Michelin star restaurant
I was just wondering. I saw a bit of Masterchef earlier and the cooks were working at a top Michelin restaurant and it was all poncy 3 blobs of ****, a bit of rocket and a mouthful of meat. never looks worth the money...
I’ve been to a few although I haven’t often had to pay. Not one of them has been value for money for me or my hosts. I love cooking and I love food but I don’t think it has to be expensive to be good.
Prefer the madras rather than the curry, bit sweeter. My go to's... Tom yum (pink) with tin of tuna Or Spicy stir fry (dark brown) with chopped bacon or frankfurters
Overrated .Not a bad player but whatever trophy he won, there was a bigger player than him who did more (rvp, ronaldo etc) yes this **** is worshipped and called world class.
At his best he was very good but didn’t fulfil his potential. Never world-class and despite his goal record against Vatican City and Narnia in qualifiers, like Lampard, Gerrard and others never did it for England.
I doubt anybody apart from Matth thinks he was world class. He just wasn’t over rated. It’s funny that he’s always played with better players though, like Van Persie how many PL trophies did RVP win at Arsenal?
Doxxing The reality is, is it even that much of a big deal? Does anybody really care who Saxton and HIAG, are? Nope.
