Overall player ratings so far?

Ameobi is a 3, he ****ing sucks.

Ba is a 6. He got himself one assist in very few minutes of actual football overall, and he's almost scored once or twice already. Even his overall play is just better.

So yes, there is a lot to separate them. One is a threat on goal, the other is not.

Fair enough mate, on reflection i do realize some of my ratings are a little bit too much, but i reckon most of them are quite accurate.

 

Despite the depressing truth(our lack of chances etc) I completely agree

 

I don't want to sound like a doom and gloomer but to be honest I think almost the whole team has been awful. We didn't deserve anything against Arsenal or QPR, barely deserved to beat the mackems, and honestly deserved only a point against Fulham. There's sod all attacking spark, and the biggest reason the defence is looking 'good' is because opposition strikers have had freak misses.

Pardew said in the summer that they've been working on keeping the ball, but it seems like what he actually meant is keeping the ball away from our players. We don't seem to be able to string any sequence of passes together.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe the team just need to gel more - The preseason was a joke, as we all know. I think we've brought in genuinely good players, just for whatever reason they're not playing at their best yet. I'm sure things will improve. They have to really, this luck won't last forever.
