Snaggs - Despite what DJ kept spouting, it's nothing to do with us. They should be putting themselves in the frame or they shouldn't be there.

i think youll use the loan market again, i expect a few prem players who dont get picked for the 25 man prem squads will come on loan again, thats where youll end up getting the real quality players this season.

A word of caution though, if another 2 or 3 come there is going to be a lot of bench warming going on and are the better players going to come if they are not guaranteed first team starters? It's great to have competition for places all over the park and good quality cover is certainly needed but with more arrivals where will that leave some of our established players?

In addition, only 5 subs to be named from this season due to some clubs not being able to field 7 - this happened to us a couple of times I recall. That means that players who would previously been part of the 18 match day sqaud won't now even make the bench. Result - even more dis-satisfied players.

I think this emphasises more than ever that some have to be moved on, via loan at least, over the next 4/5 weeks. We all know the players we think should try their hands elsewhere and surely Malky knows by now but who is lining up to offer to take them?

I agree with Norway and can't understand the strategy. I keep asking myself (leaving aside Bellamy) are Miller and Earnshaw as good as Chopra and Bothroyd remembering that Bothroyd was brilliant prior to his England call up and let's face it Chopra never regained fitness after his injury? Have we anybody as good as Burke (leaving aside his end of term dip in form). Is our defence any stronger given that the manager seems to be enthralled by Naylor? Some might say Gerrard is the answer with Taylor at full back. But clearly the manager doesn't think so. And I still maintain that we need a better keeper to be a top notch team in the Division.

Where I think we might be stronger is in central midfield but for as long as question marks remain over our attack and defence I cannot see us being any better than a mid table side.

We need at least 2 experienced defenders plus Bellamy (if that remains a possibility). Then we could have a decent team capable of securing promotion.

I agree with Blue that some players need to be shipped out.
