Lads just to put you in the picture there are issues going on behind the scenes in relation to those 2 threads hence the locking. Once they are resolved the threads may be re opened but this will not be until tomorrow at the earliest.

As a mod myself, the problem is people claiming they can hack it, but we can't give you names because they just sign their warnings Anonymous so we don't know who it is. <cracker>

More seriously though, I've no idea what's going on, but the "pink handcuffs" are binoculars aren't they?

It doesn't. The cracker followed by "more seriously" though should tell you to look for a very bad joke. "can't hack it" + "need names", someone calling themselves Anonymous saying they can hack it.

I had to close both threads late last night. I have not been about much today due to other commitments. The Paris thread has now been reopened. The other thread will remain locked. Tramore and Beth don't yet have the capacity to carry out any modding actions. Since we switched forums the modding tool upgrade has a glitch in the system.

Hi Swordsy.....The pink handcuffs sign on the some of the threads I think means, that "you" have posted on it....and will get alerts when some one else posts on it......not that the mods are watching it.... I do not think they are pink handcuffs...I think they are binoculars.

So no need to get paranoid about that either swordsy

Curious why you had to close both threads - neither was offensive in my opinon - did I miss something?

In my opinion Lala you did miss something.......The Adel and Harry thread had in fact turned quite nasty, with strong overtones of suggested racism...and was probably a post away from going over the top. As 999s has explained, the closure allowed the situation to cool down. The Paris thread is now reopened. So if you want to comment on the release of a million copies of Charlie Hebdo, please do.
And you are also all now aware, due to an ongoing glitch, Tramore and I are only pretending to wear our underpants on the outside... I have tried jumping off high buildings several times, and only succeeded in bumping my head
but I can already see this modding lark is no easy ride....but we are not killjoys and there really is no conspiracy going on...

I have read the Harry Taarabt thread before commenting and I have to say it was the right thing on this occasion. when someome refers to "darkies" then lets put a stop to it straight away...
