im 22 and not married and no kids. but i have wide hips and will have many of jordan's children. absolutely no kids after the age of 35 though, hopefully 30. im getting that **** over and done with when im young. dont know about these nutters wanting kids in their late 30's and 40's.
So, you already have a four bedroom house, a large car and three lots of future Uni charges saved up?
my parents didnt pay for my uni fees...? and children can share bedrooms (shock horror) and we'll have a tandem bike that all of us can cycle instead of a car
i dunno, my dad made us a tandem from a load of old bikes when we were little, could fit four of us on it. was a little difficult to balance though. what would a multi person bike be called?
on a side note. i read a story the other day about a guy who had 2 kids with someone 38 years his junior when he was 65 and 68. wayyy too old to have children.
I don't drive so I don't have a car. I was using those things as symbolism. You need money to have children - folk will say you don't but unless you want them getting slagged for their school clothes and to be comparative with their peers (not to mention have times in their lives they'll enjoy), then you need money. If you're in your early twenties and you aren't clearing £30,000, don't have kids cos you can't afford it. I had my eldest weans young thanks to modern contraception My youngest (who's two) will have a much better childhood than her big sisters - we have all sorts we didn't have when my older kids were young. Also, having kids restricts your earning capacity if you're unskilled - after Uni, I did loads of unskilled jobs that weren't particularly well paid. Thanks to nursery timelines, what my wife worked etc etc etc, I was stuck in the same job for a while as other jobs in the industry required shift work which I couldn't commit to. It's not to do with age - you need money to bring up a child and people do not have that available money in their twenties these days (unless bequeathed it)
But, if he can provide for them and physically look after them, better to do it then than when he's in a minimum wage job and can barely feed them, no?
I just discovered that i have a super ban in place meaning the only Forum i can post on is GC......... FFS
