Ok maybe overate is the wrong word but the way everyone goes on about it you would think he usually has a 2 - 3 month injury lay off every season, think it was 09/10 since he had 1 of them but since then hes been ok and on top form to boot
Well he had one in the 10/11 season too (out for a month and a bit?). So 1 injury free season, which was last season. Its hardly a great record, for someone who's 29 and been at Arsenal since he was 20 and has only played over 30 league games in one season since he's been there. That said, he's not like an Owen who's guaranteed to get a couple of muscle injuries in a season. He's more like Agger in that he seems to break easily when tackled hard or lands awkwardly.
Well we were heavily linked to him before we signed RVP, and if I remember correctly he was interested in a move this way.
Feel for borini, he is a good player, nd will score goals if we play him up front, he's wasted on the wing, the midfield need to get closer to him nd give him a good supply. Looking forward to see what Rodgers does next
If Rodgers had plans to use Borini in the centre rather than on the wings, then I'm disappointed that he's injured. But I get the impression Rodgers wants Suarez as the main striker therefore Borini would be shifted to the wing where it simply does not suit him, therefore I'm not that disappointed. I think Yesil/Morgan will be on the bench, Suarez will remain as CF and we can see Suso/Assaidi/Sterling/Downing on the wings.
