I said that something like this would happen! BR letting the media talk about our players 'potentially leaving' whilst we go about our own business out of the spot light! Welcome to LFC, hope u r an absolute gem!
Looks quality. Hopefully the front three will be him on the left, Suarez through the middle and Borini on the right. That means Downing will actually have to play well to fight for his place, not just play because of his price tag and Dalglish's ego like last season.
Check out these butch football kits. please log in to view this image I dont expect one constant front three. It will change depending on the opposition. Our option are: Suarez Borini Carroll Downing Assaidi Sterling Cole Gerrard
ffs from these videos he looks like Messi, typical youtube clips - good editing. But looks like we've got ourselves a great player!
I'll reserve my judgement. Only a good impact player from the bench at best atm. Skillfull, tricky, pacey, foreign and unknown....that can go either way, we have had several before and several failing. Hope he is good, wouldn't like to see Sterlings place taken though, hopes he would feature now and then.
This was my immediate worry as I learnt more about him but maybe this is the "starter" who will bring sterling on. Either way, welcome to the family young man.
Would still like to see him go on loan where he would play 20 games or so. Or stay with us and heavily feature in Europe, while bit parts every now and then in the league. This signing surely reduces my second thoughts.
Ajax confirmed they were interested in him a few weeks ago, think Fulham were in the mix too. Dutch league is a good one, could fit in well, and only three mil too.
Apparently got him for £3m due to him only having 12 months of his contract Wears 11 for Morrocco so maybe for us too Assaidi apparently said YESTERDAY: "I don't want to go abroad, but remain with my family in Amsterdam. I never hid my desire to play for Ajax... Footballers!!!!!.... Apparently on £21k a week over 4 yrs
lets be honest, £3m these days is practically a free transfer so hopefully he wont feel the pressure to perform immediately.
Ajax offered him a 1.1 million euro yearly salary. Assaidi, like i said in my analysis, has a bit of an attitude and a temper and rejected it because he wanted more whilst the salary offered was already in the top shelf for Dutch league salaries.
If you really wanted Dempsey, it's an odd tactic to go and sign one of the people we wanted to replace him!
Nothing released yet, transfer fee unkown, wage unkown and contract length unkown. Daily Mail is speculating 3 million pounds, Guardian says 2,4 million, nothing reasonable to say about it at this point
