It'll happen before too long I think, Short wants to sell and we're an attractive enough proposition.
I think as soon as we look safe then interested parties will start coming forward again.
We might be stuck in this division for years now, the warning was there. You can bet West ham will oust Bilic get in a new manager and give him £150m to spend, that's what short should have done 4 years ago. A fantasy is to get back up and take our stadium to 65,000 to attract the best players and we will fill it and create more jobs, I would pay £1000 a season to see a player like Kane or Bale playing for us, and this could happen and should have by now. I would like think we will be talking about the champions league in 5 years time.

Its possible that Short will recover his money then decide to invest again if he cant find a buyer, I may be well off the mark here, but it is a possibility from what I have heard, stranger things have happened.

The squad needs strengthening and relatively speaking, it wouldn't take much to do so and bring some degree of stability to the club in this league. But it needs funding. Now.
Yet the silence is deafening.
If he won't spend now, after just 1 win in 5 in the Championship, I don't see a change of heart in him coming to the rescue anytime after that. That would be too little too late.
It looks to me that he's made a business decision to make the squad fund itself through sales with no additional funding being made available.

Slightly negative I would say but then we have just been humped off Barnsley so more than understandable.
For me our team aint too bad and should be top 10 minimum pushing for playoffs.
People often say the midfield is where the game is won and lost well for me Catts and Ndong should be able to boss any game in this league. They could be over run by a high tempo team playing 3 in there but surely Grayson should be able to spot this quick enough and switch the formation around.
At the back we still need a centre half or maybe we currently have a solution there with John oshea or even try Djilobodji. Up top we are definitely light bit we have Watmore on his way back who will give us an injection of pace and directness. Even with Watmore we are still a striker light. I reckon 2 or 3 will come in before deadline day probably all loans from Premiership clubs.
