We ain't never going to get Lassana Diarra and not to mention the fact you've totally forgot about Tiote, Ben Arfa and Gosling.

 

severel mate, louis laing is away in germany with the 1st team squad and has had his praises sung by bruce, we also have ryan noble, blair adams and billy knott who are away with england u20s, they are all better prospects than henderson and colback apparrantly

 

The future could bode well for both teams than.

 

Firstly I'm not sure that it does look better than last season. Carroll, Nolan, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Enrique all aren't there and would all (probably) get in that team.

Secondly, why would we sell Tiote as I assume you are suggesting, and why would Diarra come to us when he plays for Real Madrid.

Also, Ferguson should be used as a left winger, a replacement should be bought if Jose leaves.

Gosling isn't injured, and even if he is so is Guthrie and Ferguson, Tiote won't be sold. Oh and I miss read the title so I do apologise for that.

 

Not being funny if Diarra leaves Real Madrid there will be bigger clubs than us interested in him.

 

Ferguson should only be used at LB if Jose gets injured (or if we sell him, his replacement gets injured) I know game time is important but being played out of position is detrimental to his development as a winger and increases the risk of injuring him needlessly imo.

 

Tiote won't be sold for maybe 2 more seasons, if he keeps improving and we still have Mike Ashley in charge then he will go for 20 -25m

Explaination for Barton position is this. He was easily out most industrious runner last season so he will easily have the fitness to track back into a 3 man defensive midfield when the time merits. But he seems to be showing a predatory instinct during preseason with an eye for goal. He would give defences something to think about as he does pose a very real goal threat

 

He's left footed and can play on both wings i think, i would prefer to play him on the right and jonas on the left so we have two players cutting inside to help the lone striker, and i think marveaux was played on the right wing on wednesday.

 

hope so mate but we'll probably end up flogging them to liverpool haha, anyway i remember boro having some great youngsters 5 or 6 years ago and erm....... the rest is history

 

Gosling isn't injured - and you included Guthrie and Ferguson in your squad when they're injured anyway.. so what's the difference?
