So, a big chance to cement safety here before the run in and make those final 6 a lot less nerve wracking.

We've got the games to do it so how many points from:

Villa (H) W
West Ham (A) L
Newcastle (H) L
Norwich (A)
Arsenal (H)
Watford (A)

Much easier run on on paper than our previous 6 which netted us 9 points, though we do tend to perform against the better sides.

I reckon we'll get 8/9 from that and have ourselves a riveting battle for 12th in the last few games.

So 10 points...Safety

PS @Libby West Ham is away.

Cheers, thought only 2 away matches wasn't right. Winning two* of those 3 will be job done although I like you fancy us against Arsenal.

*as long as one is Norwich.

West Ham, you hope/expect, will be going into our game off the back of away defeats to City and Liverpool. Seeing them on 24 points from 27 games.

They then follow up our match with Arsenal, Wolves, Spurs and Chelsea in succession.

Please beat them, Saints. Please, please, please, please, please.

I really want to beat Newcastle too, they're so poor and we gifted them the game up there in December.

I think we'll win away to Norwich and Watford. Not so confident against West Ham. We'll continue to be a bit **** at home, but should hopefully beat Villa. Big game that actually.

I hate the expression "must win game", because you want to win all of them, but you know you can't. But next Saturday could go a long way towards defining the rest of our season.

4 wins and 2 defeats but i'm not sure which games they will be as Saints are pretty unpredictable these days

12 pts for me will do nicely in our charge for a top ten finish assuming we don't get too many injuries/suspensions to the defence and key players.

Villa - 2-0 win
West Ham 3-1 win
Newcastle 1-1
Norwich 3-1 win
Arsenal 2-1 win
Watford 2-1 loss

13 points.

Most looking forward to West Ham away. Their fans will expect to beat us and have to beat us. Feel we could actually win very well there as they will attack and we can pick them off on the counter.

As long as we don't lose to them. A draw would be far more useful to us then it would be to them.

I'm going for 13 points - 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. No idea about the order of those results but do feel confident.
