    Cardiff are playing with a defender at centre forward, which says a lot about their approach (Paterson has scored a couple, mind you!). We`ll need to match their commitment however.

    Well if we’re on the same pitch as them, there is a, albeit a mighty slim one, chance to get a point. City for all their pomp get a lot of help from refs who fail to book fouls by them early in the game in an attempt to subdue any opposition. It’s Guardiola’s well kept secret game plan. Do not be fooled by his open approach to the game. Also we’ll need to be ready for 98mins if level at 95mins! Just hope we see a decent committed and sustained performance, it could turn our season around.

    We have to consider Cardiff and Fulham both as possible wins. I’d also throw Watford in. I’m not saying we will or they are nailed on, just that there is a chance if 2 or even 3 wins with a fair wind.

    The **** Newcastle team who didn’t get a shot in target against us, beat Watford.
