Exactly. Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. Everton D Man City L Bournemouth L Arsenal L Leicester D Chelsea L 2 points max, maybe 3. Knowing saints though we’ll draw at City, Arsenal and Chelsea and lose the rest.
Interesting that we all expected a draw against Everton....based on the fact that they surely couldn't carry on being crap....but hey, they could.
Everton D City L Bournemouth W Arsenal L Leicester W Chelsea L So far we've got the 4 points that I predicted....though results round the wrong way.
I missed the start of this run in. So far we've done better than I would have predicted at the time. Things have defiantly picked up but I think we will be doing.. Arsenal L - They're playing well at the moment. We could do a city job on them but it will be a tough game. Leicester W - I think that the players will be amped for this one and want to give CP a welcome back performance. Chelsea L - aside from the stumble against Palace they're only dropping points against top 4 sides
Luck is impossible to quantify or define. But, as any gambler will confirm, even if it absolutely does not exist as a scientific phenomenon, when you're luck is in, it's in; and when it's out, it's out.
Come on @The Liebherr Legacy Update the OP. My 9 points looking slightly underestimated at the moment
OP updated. So we currently have 5 from 4 games, the amount many of us picked us to get throughout. A win against Leicester would make this a very good return from a tough set of games imo.
With Puel in charge (and a large Gallic axe to grind one would assume) I think it could be the toughest test. We may also spank them to death. Draw written all over it.
Op updated, we finished with 5 from 6 which is approximately what a lot predicted I think? I'll stick the next thread up tomorrow
