After our very encouraging performance on Sunday our next 6 matches all look very winnable.

West Brom (h)

Millwall (a)

West Ham (a)

Newcastle (h)

Swansea (a)

QPR (h)

so the question is how many can we actually win. I'm going for 3 against West Brom Millwall ansd QPR with draws against Newcastle and West Ham. Just one defeat for me away at Swansea.

Looking at those fixtures I think I'll be very disapponted if we do any worse than that.

Thoughts

West Brom (h) Win

Millwall (a) Win

West Ham (a) Draw

Newcastle (h) Draw

Swansea (a) Draw

QPR (h) Win

9 points after 6 league games. I really don't expect us to lose any of those.

Difficult to use one game, the opening to the season as well, to be confident about how we'll do. Easier to raise our game against a Liverpool side and particularly where so much pride was at stake. That being said, those are mostly winnable games considering the personnel. Hopefully we'll be more solid at the back, especially with Gardos coming into the side at some point. I think West Ham away will prove difficult as usual - ugly tends to win over our style. Expect us to beat Millwall and QPR along with West Brom or Newcastle.

In our first season back we played well against City then went on to lose against Wigan at home. While on paper we should beat West Brom we shouldn't take it as a definite. We'll know after the next 4 games how well we'll do this season I reckon. I don't expect us to lose any of those, but I wouldn't be surprised if Newcastle and West Ham beat us.

We will win them all, wiping the floor with those dirty northern/london/welsh/midland types.

West Ham will be 1-0 either way. Of that I'm sure. Nice run of games for the most part.

I hate playing West Ham to such a degree that when they played spurs on Saturday, I was tormented by REALLY wanting them both to lose.

West Brom W
Millwall W
West Ham W
Newcastle W
Swansea W
QPR W

Well I'm generally positive, but that's out there. I think we could, and perhaps should, win all the Home League games referenced, plus Millwall away in the League Cup, although they have been going exceptionally well under Holloway. Like him or not, he makes a difference to his teams. As to the Away League games, I think we could hope to draw with either, but losing to one or the other would be understandable. West Ham will be ultra physical and Swansea will pass their way around us as much as they can. Are we physical enough for the challenge at the moment and are we clever enough..? If we're going to get a positive result out of either, I'd say WHU. At this moment, the best I can see out of Swansea is a draw, but time passes. So, at the moment, I'm expecting this:

West Brom W
Millwall W
West Ham D
Newcastle W
Swansea L
QPR W

I consider that pretty damn positive, and possibly a little out there as well. :)

My predictions above, the West Ham curse...I can't stand them and I'm sure it will be the most frustrating game to watch!
