Right, so I thought I'd do 5 for this round as it takes us up to Christmas and it's a pretty season defining set of games: Watford (H) W Norwich (H) W Newcastle (A) L West Ham (H) L Villa (A) W Probably need at least 3 wins out of that? Anything above that would be a great return and less would surely leave us cut adrift? I'll go for 7 - two wins, two defeats and a draw.
15. If Jasper can be optimistic, I think I can too Seriously, though I think we will get 9, the three wins will be 2 at home (I know, I know) and one away.
Yep back to back wins would probably give us such a boost, that we'd win the next three. Individually, they are all winnable and in a different set of fixtures (ie with Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea etc thrown in) we would pick any one of those games as the one we could win.
Half asleep... funnily enough I looked at it three times as it didn't look right but still didn't notice
Get the full 15 points, and we'll be laughing. 24 points from 18 games would be way beyond the necessary requirement to stay up. Potentially we might only need a further 10 points from our remaining 20 games. Get 8 or 9 points, and we'll be right back on track. 17 or 18 points from 18 games is basically keeping things on track for a final-day relegation battle. Get 5 or less points, and we can say hello to the Championship. Other than 14 points, I think that anything is realistically possible from these 5 games. They are huge. If you offered me 10 points today, I would say yes please.
Oh well...lets go for broke....18 points..........that'll do for a while............(I'll get me coat.......)
Watford (H) W Norwich (H) W Newcastle (A) D West Ham (H) D Villa (A) W 11 points which I would be more than happy with.
Erm….was that deliberate? Even you should be able to work out it's impossible to get 18 points from 5 games.
I think Ralph will now have realised after yesterday that going 4 at the back is the way to go from now on. We are **** at the back whether we have 4 or 5. The difference is with only 4 at the back we look much better going forward.
