Oh I see your point, Shearer is possibly the striker everyone aims to be. In that way its a compliment to him yes.
Painful as it is to say it, Shearer is without question the best striker of his style there has been. If Connor even came close, we'd be very fortunate indeed. Shearer is still a dull ****ing twat though, Connor is clearly better looking, has a full head of hair etc etc
Although i'm still cautious on this, after reading some article, and watching as much as i can about him, i'm coming round to the idea that he may be a force in our attempt to push onwards. It is not an insult to Shearer, and a big up to young Wickham himself. If he can become anywhere near half as good as Shearer, i will be very impressed. Mag or no Mag, Shearer was top class, and it just proves what a top striking pair can achieve, SaS. took Blackburn to the very top. End of the day, they all started out as young lads, in lower leagues, so let's see what the future holds for him... As good as Shearer, i very much doubt, but half as good as Shearer, sod it, i'll take that.
Shearer is gorgeous, you clearly have no taste! Seems Bruce is going for the Little and Large traditional approach. Someone to bully teams I'd imagine.
Looks like it, and i'm comfortable with that. From what i've seen and read, Whickham is adept at dropping off and uses the ball well, this should see Gyan around the box rather than dropping back to near half way. Add the quality of Seb's delivery, the trickery of Sess, and Gardner's box top box attributes, and you can see the sense in pushing the boat out to get Connor. Seems he compliments the other players.
Thanks for taking the time to give me some attention you sad twat. As for the time spent on here, I am a student, I have **** all to do. I am off work at the moment with a torn ankle ligament. As for the women comment, I will send you a postcard whilst on holiday with my lass tomorrow
I don't see how people can compare the lad with Shearer. He is just starting out for goodness sake, so what the future holds for him nobody knows. Shearer on the other has undoubtedly proven himself as one of the greatest strikers in recent history, whose career sadly went downhill when he signed for Newcastle.. For the record, I have met Shearer and in my opinion he is a very decent bloke.
As the Premier League's most prolific goalscorer, I wouldn't say it went downhill. He won the PL with another club, so he wasn't trophy-less. I am pretty sure many of you on here would do anything to play for Sunderland, and if you signed out with a PL trophy, top PL goal scorer and top goal scorer at Sunderland, you would see that as a huge achievement.
How long has Dunston polytechnic been doing a paper round degree you little genius. Ps that inflatable lilo doesn't class as a person.
A man of his undoubted ability who drove Blackburn to Premiership glory at a young age would have at least expected to have achieved a lot more in his career. The fact that he didn't is evidence that his career went downhill once he went to Newcastle, regardless of it being the club he supported.
Insulting? You thick deluded twat! Won't even come close? How the **** do you know that? You and the rest of the ignorant unwashed, coming on here spouting what you KNOW is going to happen in the future, is quite frankly embarrassing. Shearer is undoubtedly the best striker to grace the Prem. To say no one will come close or surpass him is arrogance beyond belief.
